Interesting Facts and a Good Read --- submitted by JT Dibble
Shown are a caribou with the spirit line through the body, the man with his medicine bag below him, a partial man whose right arm and legs are missing, and the rock face. They are located near the narrows north of the Outpost. My reading leads me to believe that they are pre-contact with Europeans, so at least several hundred years old. The pain is probably fish oil and ochre (iron oxide). Such drawings are typically on rock faces where the water transitions to the sky and are found across the Canadian Shield.
